Pete Jacobs developed an interest in music while growing up in the humble Catskill-Mountain town of Stamford, New York. After taking piano lessons and playing the trumpet in his elementary school band, Pete picked up the guitar, with an affinity for The Beatles. By high school, this interest translated into a full-fledged love of classic folk/rock. Pete began writing and singing his own songs styled after his legendary favorites, from the The Who to the Rolling Stones, and also a more modern fare, including The Shins and Jack White. After enrolling at Berklee, Pete began studying Music Production and Engineering and recorded his own debut album, Thoughts Upon A Window. With this acoustic guitar-driven solo album behind him and new, electric guitar centric rock songs waiting to be performed, he assembled the band, Dirty Blind, and got the chance to tour as an opening act with legendary rock band, Jefferson Starship. Pete is currently completing his last semester at Berklee, as a Music Production and Engineering major, while also working on his next collection of original music.
