BRANDON SHAHFALL 2017

Brandon Shah has toured nationally and internationally since the age of 16 on stages in front of thousands, on reality tv for millions, and in bars, apartments and houses for less than ten. His personality is best described as whimsical and light while his music is raw and moving. At 21, Brandon has an eclectic resume ranging from being an advocate for Music Therapy featured in The Boston Globe to performing for and with Lionel Richie at Berklee’s 2017 commencement concert. As of August 2017, Brandon has been an intern at A Place To Be in Middleburg, Virginia where he studies and applies music therapy protocols in acute psych settings, hospitals, stroke/TBI rehabilitation, assisted living, with older adults, and with adolescents. He utilizes his songwriting abilities for individuals with suicidal ideations to help them create new coping mechanisms and prevent relapse. Brandon is currently cast in three productions: Behind The Label which tours middle schools presenting overt and inert disabilities and how to transcend labels, One Second of Grace which addresses anxiety, depression, sexuality, body image and many more issues faced within High School, and A Will To Survive, a rock opera about suicide prevention told from the perspective of Ann-Charlotte Robinson, the mother of Will Robinson who took his life on January 14th, 2016. Brandon is cast as Will in the musical and he will be debuting an original song based off of real stories from individuals Will affected in his lifetime.
